Meet Andrew Bottrell

Retired US Navy EOD1 Andrew Bottrell attended Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) School in 2008. He was deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 with Seal Team 10. In Afghanistan, on October 1st, 2011, while conducting combat operations Andrew was in a vehicle that got struck by an Improvised Explosive Device. He suffered extreme injuries that led to a double leg amputation and a left arm amputation. Andrew Shares "Always push yourself no matter what life brings your way. If you do not like your situation, change it. Do not blame somebody else for it and do not wait for somebody else do do something about it."

Andrew was nominated for a Can Am ANT by Navy Seal and close friend David Meadows.

Andrew will receive an Can Am ANT from the Freedom Mobility Foundation at the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021.
